It's not any American usage I ever heard of.  In the dictionaries I
frequent, the plural of concerto is a choice between concerti and
concertos.

Whether your reviewer likes it or not, folks will read his reviews and just
assume he make a *typo*.  I find this stubborness about the use of language
pretty silly.  Language is to communicate, and "concertoes" only
communicates an error.
