ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

It's a pretty brief activity, but personally I'm always floored by the
one where you point both index fingers straight out, place a yardstick
on top of your fingers, then slowly slide your fingers closer together.
When they meet, they'll be in the center of the yardstick - no matter
where you start them. Freaky!

Subject: Center of Gravity

I need help in teaching center of gravity / balance concepts to
elementary students. I'm looking for ways to demonstrate finding the
CoG as well as ways that students can display the concept. Any activity
ideas or background information would be greatly appreciated.
