ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I am researching what other science centers have done when organizing
free public events. In the past, we called these events "Free Family
Science Nights." These events were funded by a grant, and it provided 4
free family evenings over the period of a year. So now I have questions
for everybody:

Has anybody out there done free public events similar to this?

If so, what was the focus, or theme, for the free event? In the past,
we had a 'science career' focus for our events.

Were there any other partner organizations involved in creating and
promoting the event? These could be profit, or non-profit
organizations.

How did you promote your event?

Any other input, in addition to these questions, would be appreciated
beyond my means. Thanks for all your wisdom out there.
