Peter Hartmann found this phenomenon (thank goodness for spell
check!)  when he did his pump studies too.  I believe at least one, if not
more, of the mothers with perfectly beautiful, thriving fully breastfed
babies were unable to pump their breastmilk.  Those of you who have
attended his lectures on the development of the Symphony may have heard him
relate this fact.
