That wasn't my point.  Those who want the "top-forty" works will usually
balk at the modern work at the same concert.  Those who want to hear
specifically the new work may not necessarily want to hear a warhorse once
again.

A few people understood me much better and agreed with me: why not include
two lesser known but still fairly traditional works? No, I don't believe
that everybody wants only top forty.  Evidence contradicts this belief.
