Dear Bee People,
 
I am an senior undergraduate student in Biology at the University of La Verne
in California.  Our Department maintains a bee hive and although I have very
little experience (practically none) working with bees I would like to
study some aspect related to them for my senior thesis research.  My advisor
suggested that I post a listing to this august group to see what possiblilities
might exist.
 
Since time is a very valuable commodity I would like to do something
significant which will add to the body of knowledge about bees.  But my
advisor suggests that cannot be too grand a project.  Something that is
doable in 5-8 months without extensive expendable resources.  We have
standard chemical instrumentation including GC-MS.
