I don’t know where you buy your animals, Charles, but that happens all the time in reputable centers in urban areas. At least an offer to answer any questions the buyer might have, but also questioning about buyer's qualifications. I got questioned about buying a canary, hamster and my parents had to answer a lot of questions when they picked up a puppy from a local animal shelter, both times. The larger or more impactful animal, the more questions. Though probably not out there in Montana or Kansas, where if you show up with a cattle trailer to an auction it’s assumed you know what you’re doing, :-)
