Is this paper supposed to be a conclusive statement?   Or is it a proposition of possibilities and/or probabilities?  Don't think it was published to make anyone happy or to reconcile positions.  This is a treatise concerning a possible cause or contributing factor in the CCD situation.  IMHO it is one of the first steps towards working towards an answer to the cause(s) of CCD, not an conclusive statement as to the cause.
