Hello Paul and All,
I do understand the problem with 2-4D in Washington State.
Years ago I put some bees on some private logging company that has many thousand Acers on the east side of the Olympic mountains. It is all behind gates which I like.
Early spring I went up to check out my sites and roads. I could smell the chemicals inside my truck without even getting out. I stopped by there main office and asked them what happened." well we sprayed 2-4 D two months ago to kill the blackberry's that were crowding out the new plant of trees." I did not go into that area with my bees. The really strange thing for me was the time lapse from spraying and my site check.
So we even have spraying on the west side also.
Best regards
Roy

Thanks Jim And all. We have been at this for a year and are now submitting bills to the legislature. We have a very powerfully Noxious Weed Control Board in WA
.
