For completeness, I looked on Amazon for the price of a silver spoon ("a 
swarm in June..."); it looks like you can get a real sterling silver one 
(not plated) for $40 to $80 each. As for "a swarm in July isn't worth a 
fly..." Amazon has house fly pupae at $12.99 for 250, with free shipping 
(five cents a piece).
