I have used an ammo canister for years for my smoker.   In it I carry a lighter or two, papaer for initial ignition, chunks of rotten wood for smoke, my smoker, and a couple of hive tools.  Along with a hat with veil, I have just about everything I need except good sense with which to go through a hive.   And I can carry all that in any vehicle which will carry me.  (Gets awkward on a motorcycle though) Mike in LA
