Can anyone give me an advice how to treat chalkbrood?

Chalkrood is in my colonies since Varroa came (ten years) but it
has never made any serious troubles till now. Unless Varroa
infestation is quite normal, things are much worse today. It is
likely due to unpleasant weather in April.

Is it true that Formic acid treats chalkrood?
