Dear Bee-l's,

The Mini Page in my Sunday newspaper was dedicated to the hummingbird. There were a couple of interesting things that pertained to bees.

One is that hummingbirds are attracted to red. So that means probably that their color vision is close to ours. Where as bees do not see red. This leaves the red flowers for the hummingbirds.

It also said never to feed honey to hummingbirds because it causes their tongues to swell and then the bird can't eat. Has anyone ever heard of that before??
