        I have eaten larvae excavated for native bee burrows, Yummy. They
tasted like Tang! However, their flavour depends on what kind of pollen the
founderess fed to them. I have eaten a few larvae which unmistakenly
dined on dandelion (Taraxacum spp.) pollen, YUUCKK!!!, the taste lasted for
days in my mouth.
