I am familiar with the descriptions of the Liberty variety. Was not as highly rated as some of the other ones. I should find out how my other two are doing.
What kind of spraying do you do on your std varieties? I have not done any but started researching tree care.
I also have to figure out the canker (?) growth on my plum. I hear one is to inject "Fixed Copper."

I believe it was Liberty , Freedom or something similar to that name. Cut it
down and put in a peach (Reliance).
My other apples are classic varieties like Northern Spy, Mac, Cortland,
Granny Smith, both Red and Golden Delicious, and Winesap. All taste great.
If they do not, they are gone.
Obviously, I am the apple supplier for both the neighborhood and our church.
My fruit trees and garden were the reasons I started keeping bees-
pollination. They certainly do their job.
Dave Green on his Pollination Pages had some great papers on apple
pollination. Leaned a lot (and have forgotten a lot since then),
