I just ordered a pint of sucrocide to rid my bees of mites. I have not treated for mites in 3 years and now see a lot of bees with shriveled wings and mites.

Has anyone tried applying Sucrocide with a Windex-type plastic spray bottle? Or do I need to get a high-pressure garden-style sprayer?

Any comments regarding your experience with Sucrocide - as to its effectiveness or lack thereof, queen vulnerability etc. - would be most appreciated.

Some folks in my area have tried and like to use food-grade mineral oil applied with a Sears fogger. Anyone else have good experience with it?
