I'm not sure that that statement is true--see the attachment.  I created
this from WHO data.

That observation is not just for your locality--it has long appeared to be
universal.  Bob Harrison pointed it out on the List way back in the early
2000's.

In my own monitoring of potential mite-resistant breeder hives, it appears
that a percentage of them got removed from the program in fall due to them
having robbed out mite-infested hives.  Thus, I may be selecting against
robbing behavior.
