I have posted a time or two, but I lurk because I am still a beginner
(I have kept 5 to 12 hives for the last 15 years and I am beginning to get
a handle on things). I learn from the discussions - they give me a lot to
think about. The wide diversity of backgrounds, ideas, and theories are
valuable and I get a broader outlook than I can from my local association.
It's a good group of people, but we are mostly small hobby beekeepers with to
or three sideliners - we don't have anyone with the experience and size of
Allen, Bob, or Randy. The discussions do get a bit testy at times, but it
seems to stay civilized for the most part. I like this foram and I
appreciate all those that make it possible. Thanks.
