I'd be interested in who is reporting CCD like losses in Hawaii, which island and to what extent. I manage (or mismanage) 120 hives on Oahu and haven't seen 
any hive losses that I can't seem to explain. I've asked our coop members to pay more attention to any hives that they lose, to do a post mortem and not just 
write the hive off.

I've not seen signs of mites in any of my hives.
