totally agree with Stan.

Will only like to add in the case of blueberries (highbush), bees and
bumbles, that at least over here we do not know under which
environmental conditions the flower are receptive to pollination,
therefore, the couple, bee+bumble, allow a longer window. As Stan
said, bumbles work in lower temps,but stop working when temps are
above 22ºC, which is the perfect temp for all the bees to be outside
working.

In the farms I work, pollination cost is less than 2% of total running
cost, but secures more than 80% of the success. We place 6 bees hives
plus 3 bumble boxes per hectare. Hives rent for us$60 while bumble
boxes are sold for us$80.

We have a program to naturalize bumbles in the blueberries farms or
surroundings.
