It's actually the LD for the individual. If the exact LD 50 for bee venom
could be worked out, which is of course impossible, there would not likely
be any person in the world who's lethal dose would be the same as this
number.

Having said that, I agree with you, Hugo. It doesn't matter what the cause
of death is, just the amount of bee venom that it takes to kill an average
person.
