I saw a curious thing yesterday when checking a hive. There was a number
of extremely small bees (estimated 2/3 - 1/2 the size a "normal" bee) on
the frames. In all other ways they looked normal. I.e. they weren't small
shiny black bees and they did not look like small newly emerged bees. Any
insight into what causes this, or what I should look for/be concerned with
would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Dan
