I've even used it to cause a new hive (having moved in a week before) to
abscond from a cavity in a tree. I put a fair amount on a wad of newspaper
in the top of a smoker and smoked them out. Those that I miss with the
vacuum as they come out settle nearby as a swarm that can be captured in
the normal manner or vacuumed up. Very useful for when a swarm has moved
into a permanent home for only a short time.
