According to instructions sent out:

You may leave the list at any time by sending a "SIGNOFF BEE-L" command to
[log in to unmask] (or [log in to unmask]). Please note that this
command must NOT be sent to the list address (BEE-L@ALBNYVM1) but to the
LISTSERV address (LISTSERV@ALBNYVM1).

There is a social insect network, but I am uncertain how one signs on (even
though I am on it). Much of the material communicated on that network
concerns ants and bumblebees.
