The reason that consumers are rejecting GM honey is because they perceive it
to be contaminated.  There now exists a fear of contamination of all foods.
With respect to honey this means: antibiotics (China),  residues from
various varroa treatments and now, GM contamination.  The public are
beginning to become clued up as to what goes on and are starting to
discriminate which product they will buy.
