Pauls post prompted me to make a response as I intended to wait for the
results. I have wrapped all my hives with load stabilizer plastic and expect
to see no adverse effects in spring. I see condensation betwen the wrap and
wood but have little concern, believe mostly leakage from the inside. My
rational is that the styrofoam supers do not breath and the bees are able to
get rid of the moisture have been) so I expect they still will with this
wrap. I do have a top entrance and an insulated top or a moistur absorbing
inner cover as have had for years. Have wrapped hives fo many years using
the1/4" polyfoam flexable sheet packing but really bulky stuff and somewat
of a pain to put on and remove. Intend to report on results this spring.
