For a few years, I was somewhat concerned with the amount of package bees
being brought into the area each year. 400 +/-100.
Delivery date is usually last Saturday of April to first week of May. I
start splitting hives 4/27-5/6. So all my Queens are mated and laying
before package bees first round of brood emerges.
Most of the package bees end up east of me 20+ miles.
With 22 different yards, some was ending up close tho.

The number of packages will be less, since I just bought out the operation
of the major user of packages in this area.
