Allen, I assume that you are referring to the Suchail paper on IMD.  I don't
know how closely you have studied the data in that widely-cited paper (the
source of the 0.5ppb figure), but I find it wholly unconvincing, and largely
unsupported by several other studies before or since.  Might I suggest that
you closely inspect their survival graphs?
