I obviously ommited one serious point in my question: we work with A.m.
capensis, an African race! Perhaps a bit different. A number of South
African beekeepers have come back to me on this one, reporting mainly that
the electrical and electro-magnetic fields generated by the motor, cause
irritation in the bees.
