careless statements.

However, that is exactly what the natural bee antiviral response apparently
does--it rather randomly "dices" the double virus RNA strand into short
segments, so that virtually all sections are represented.  The bee immune
system responds to some or all.  dsRNA technology uses only certain of those
sequences that are unique to the targeted virus, not to any of the other bee
RNA.  So there is little chance of messing up the cellular metabolism.
