I had wrapped the outside of my hive with Seran Wrap
to keep cold winds from blowing in through the cracks between the boxes.

I noticed some condensation on the Seran Wrap
between the top box and the Styrofoam feeder
so I inserted an ImireShim just below the feeder
with the entrance opening toward the front
so ventilation would be from the lower front entrance
up along the front of the hive
and out through the Imire Shim entrance.

That way I reasoned that the cluster located in the center of the hive
would not be subjected to drafts.

Full disclosure:
I'm a first year beekeeper
but I spend my lunch hour every day
reading Georges Pink Pages
and that's what I think George would do.
