Yestereay I came across a posting on the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation web
site that a full scale study of the effectiveness of bee venom for MS.
They are using injections of purified venom in a double blind study. How
they blind the recipient is beyond me. I usually know when I've been stung.
The hope is that they can study the phenomonon noted in repeated anecdotal
evidence by people such as those on this list. With the side effects and
questionable effectiveness of most of the drugs for MS it is hoped
something as simple as bee venom my be a relief.
