In re-reading my last post to the list, I should add that the talk about analogies led to rhetoric, which led further afield, and I wandered off into my thoughts about writing devices and deception.

That got me thinking of the the kind of deception going on at a popular beekeeping bulletin board, and which is encouraged and abetted by management's no-confrontation policy. I received the backstory by private email, since I had participated there, before deciding that that venue shelters some unsavoury people and provides them refuge from discovery.

I would like to make it cleaqr that when I wandered off into thinking about liars, I was in no way thinking of anyone on this list or previous posters in the thread.

If anyone got that impression I apologise in advance.

Nobody of that sort would last long here.
