Paul,
The Ohio State Beekeepers Association put together a series of Powerpoint Slides 
specifically for new beekeepers a few years ago.  I got permission to post them 
as resources on our association Web Site.  They are here: 
http://gcbeekeepers.com/osba_presentations.aspx 

I am not sure who to contact regarding copyright for these, they specifically 
state "Any part of the material can be used or adapted by any Ohio bee club to 
fit their educational needs". You may be able to get copyright release by 
contacting the OSBA through their Web Site www.ohiostatebeekeepers.org.
