I read the article about the hive tool and would like to pass what I have been using as a hive tool.  If you go to Home Depot, you can pickup a tool used to open window sills   that have been painted and pry open the window.  The tool looks like the one in the article and is less expensive.  I have only been keeping bees for four years and the tool from Home Depot is my favorite tool.  Thought I would pass this along.
