I have been enjoying everyone's posts. I am by far a novice beekeeper and maintain two hives where I work at the Farmers' Museum. Our "pharmacist" observed a honeybee in a peony and saw that it went deep down inside the flower at the same time of an impending storm. He wondered if that was the bee's way of staying safe until the storm passed. Any thoughts?
