I  believe there are some critical nerves around nose, mouth, eyes, that
are  very vulnerable to insect stings
I think you can add inside the ear also.  Worst reaction  I've ever had was a
direct hit in/near the ear canal that nearly knocked me  down...dive bombed
15-20 feet from nearest hive ...no buzzing around face  as often the case and
had not been working any of them.  Had  immediate tingling near the mouth,
numbness, some feeling of swelling in  the throat.  Lasted about 30 minutes...but
I took a benadryl right after  sting and laid down in a cool place.
