Brian, WTO rules will not allow us to exclude Aussie bees.  Some major
beekeepers have tried, and those responsible in DC have heard from
beekeepers.

There are also politics involved in the beekeeping industry--major
exporter/importers were present at Orlando, and consider themselves to be
providers of an important service to beekeepers and agriculture.  In fact, a
number of beekeepers are suddenly placing orders for Aussie packages to fill
almond contracts.

Decisions are not necessarily made based upon good biology alone, but rather
with business profit and politics in mind.
