The first time I heard of powdered eggs in pollen sub was at the first
National Beekeeping Convention in Sacramento.  A prominent researcher
from the Tucson Bee Lab was comparing/contrasting different
formulations, one of which was a home grown formula from Pennsylvania.
The researcher just presented data, no opinions.  The data was very
UNFAVORABLE for the home-grown formula from Pa, which included
powdered eggs.  My recollection of the event was to make a note to
myself to skip the powdered eggs in pollen substitute.

And I too have no first-hand experience with a using powdered eggs.
Caveat emptor.

Aaron Morris - think, therefore I bee!
