Instead of exempting things that are 100% natural sugar, honey and maple
syrup ....

Canada has the same dilemma .

So what's this about "natural" sugar

Might be complex or simple sugars
But
Sugar is sugar is sugar... no?

I've had too many people over the years who in conversation
as they pay for that jar of honey
say they are diabetics telling me " but it's natural"
I tell them them they shouldn't be eating it.

Besides that obesity is a major concern.
So people have to be told.
And we who sell "pure sugar" natural or not are caught in the middle.
Honesty hurts!
