Some of the  small Sony cameras have a panorama function, just click and sweep and it stiches it all together. Looks great on the viewer but I havent seen yet how it prints or projects., not sure if it works also at the macro setting, which will focus well within 2 cm. It seems to be only in a few models now but likely will be more available across all brands in no time. Dont believe it is in the fuji water/dust/honey/propolis proof rig that Allen mentioned earlier
