Your timing is a bit off Georges--the larvae continue to feed after the
cell is capped, and then pupate later.  To obtain larvae that have
completed their feeding, but before the defecation of meconium, you need to
uncap cells next to 4th-instar larvae, and pick 5-th instar larvae laying
on their backs.
