I use sixty pound square plastic jugs to store my honey.  I acquired a square
"melt belt" from Lapps in Wisconsin.  It works quite well, but you need to be
careful.  It is very hot.  If it is not tightened or if you lay the jug down,
it will melt through the plastic.  A real mess.  I suspect the same could
happen with plastic buckets.
