I read it and then followed the link near the end to where it is said, 
"Thursday, UNAF has tried to regain control by claiming the French and foreign government officials, "a more rigorous and comprehensive toxicity of pesticides and genetically modified crops." The union also called on governments to withdraw "immediately products whose effects are toxic to honeybees and thousands of other species of bees."

On that page, I see:

"Poisoning by pesticides and diseases of bees are the two main causes of this alarming mortality, "said Henri Clément. 

Seems he tried to acknowledge the whole spectum of problems at the first meeting, but has not given up his central focus.

Excuse me, though.  It is almost impossible to ascertain what someone really thinks on complex issues from reading articles written by others about what a person may or may not have said, without knowing the entire context.

As suggested, it would be nice if he could speak for himself here.
