on the sad side of swarm control
today one queen of the golden eggs just flew away while inspecting her hive
two weeks ago I found 4 frames with supercedure cell with all frames full
of bees. very nice hive.
I made two nucs with those cell with 4 frames full of bees
next week again a couple of frames with cells. A new nuc was made
today I check again and again two frames with cells
as the first two nucs didn't mate the queen (bad weather during the critial
week) I used those two frames for the first two nucs without queens.
On that manipulation having the frame with the queen on my hands I saw the
queen fly aways. COuldn't trap it with my hand and sadly end up waving the
hand on a good bye fare well movement ...

I will never understand females ...
