All I can say is that if you plan to ramp up production far beyond you current levels, make sure you have a big enough deposit to cover your base costs and/or an irrevocable lettter  of credit.

And if you are dealing with the Japanese plan on some sleepless nights with urgent faxes (or maybe email now) and starting all over again at the start with the person on the next level up, just when  you think you have a deal.

Don't ask me how I know.
