I hope I have as much luck. I split a hive late Monday, ordered a queen on
Tuesday to be delivered Wednesday. She was held up in Kentucky and wasn't
delivered until today. I sprayed everyone with sugar syrup that had a bit
of Wintergreen oil in it left over from spring feeding. Some of the bees
started fanning and didn't seem overly agressive. I am keeping my fingers
crossed. I left most of the sugar plug in the cage. I will check in a
couple of days to see whats what.
