The Royal Society journal Biology Letters just published a peer- 
review study conducted  by 8 to 10 yr olds on the behavior of bumble  
bees. They planned and carried out their experiments and wrote the  
manuscript describing novel findings: “This experiment is important,  
because no one in history (including adults) has done this experiment  
before.”
