Sounds like one I just bought (also used) for $850. Size and brand would have helped in the price assessment.

>I am buying a used extractor from the estate of a deceased beekeeping friend of mine.  I want to treat his wife fairly but yet not be taken advantage of.  The extractor has been used about three times with about a total of 900 - 1500 pounds of honey being extracted.  The original price for the extractor was about $1200.  What would bee a fair price to offer her?
