Well, having messed around with some top bar hives and long-box designs, and having moved some hives, I think the horizontal hives are easier for two guys to put on a truck.  
 
But that's relative.  No hive is really fun to move, and it's no fun moving hives, in my simpleton opinion.
 
I won't move hives if I don't have to.  I'd rather make a nuc and carry it to the place I need a hive.
